Dorota Matusewicz, MD
Graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine
Dr. Dorota Matusewicz (Dr. M) gained her medical skills from one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the United States. During this training, she gained knowledge and experience from many distinguished medical scholars and practitioners who taught her that medicine is not only a science but also an art of communication.
Her main driver for this practice is seeing her patients happier, healthier, and more educated about their health, and wanting to sustain a healthy lifestyle and health moving forward. Dr. M understands that the cause and treatment begins and ends with the decisions we make as human beings and it is with this knowledge that she continues to deliver success to each and every one of her patients.
“My teachers emphasized that, as a future physician, I needed to learn how to listen to and form partnerships with my patients; I needed to appreciate cultural differences so each care plan make sense to the patient, and that I needed to emphasize the necessity of the partnership with the patient. Most of all, these experienced doctors made sure that I understood that the best way for physician to care for a patient is to care about that patient.”
Dr. M has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 1999 and has successfully opened and run Your Private Physician practice since 2002 pioneering concierge medicine practice in the Tampa Bay. She considers herself lucky to find what she loves and continues to pave the way of excellence in medicine and patient care.

She began her medical journey in 1998 as a licensed nurse and has worked in various healthcare settings throughout her career. Her passion for functional medicine began during an experience working in a Functional Medicine clinic which exposed her to the many benefits of this unique approach to the treatment of health and disease which she believes solidified her future path in Integrative Medicine.
Tiffany went on to pursue her master's degree in nursing and gain industry experience. She spent the next two-years working in primary care in order to build her expertise through experience. During this time, she still continued to look for ways to improve the current standard of care.
She met Dr. M and instantly it clicked; she loved her passion and drive for the practice and she knew she wanted to be a part of it. Tiffani is always eager to learn and improve her practice and expand her already impressive credentials. She is a mom, a healer, and a friend.
“I want to contribute to the well-being of as many people as possible. My belief in functional medicine is derived from watching patients heal and learn themselves how to better manage their health, encompassing many treatments, most of all how to simply live and be healthy. I always thought that there had to be more to medicine when all the routinely prescribed medications and treatments didn’t always work. It seemed to always leave me in the same place of thinking, now what? I found my answers and passion with functional medicine.”
